Call for SPEAKERS – Polish Db2 Users Group conference in Wrocław 20-21 September

Conference will take place on Sept 20-21 in Wrocław, Poland, Scandic Hotel, ul. Piłsudskiego 49/57, 50-032 Wrocław

Call for speakers
We cordially invite all our members and fans of Db2 to prepare and speak at coming conference, topic needs to be Db2 related. Presentation shall last about 1h, but if you have shorten or longer one we can usually accomodate.
The most desired topics are:

  • experiences with migration to new Db2 versions
  • new features in Db2
  • performance topics
  • optimisation and SQL tuning
  • migrations from other platforms to Db2
  • Db2 as a OLAP and Data Warehouse h
  • newest trends / functionalities in database Big Data, Hadoop, Spark, Machine Learning, REST API etc.
  • examples of use of add-ons and tools
  • experiences from your daily work. If you managed to do something interesting, please share with others
  • hands-on lab, demo

By presenting at PDUG you can build your / your company recognition on market, develop private and business contacts. All of our last-year user presenters were nominated for IBM Champion award, and as a result we have several IBM Champions among us. We cordially advise to follow them.

IMPORTANT: Every presenting Db2 user will get voucher for Db2 exam, and small gift from PDUG or sponsor.

We are waiting to hear from you – by end of July 2018, please submit your proposal using above form or using email pdug@pdug.pl proposed topic and abstract. Do not hestitate, we can helkops well et every stage of presentation preparation.
