Providing technical support to customers with Db2 LUW database systems and related tools. Supporting variety of products from Db2 family such as IIAS appliance, Db2 on Cloud, Db2 Warehouse on Cloud. Specializing in PureScale Cluster solutions.
Advising and guiding customers on technical decisions in the use of Db2 product, identifying and resolving questions or problems related to product installation, configuration, utilization, functionality, updates, compatibility performance and availability across multiple platforms and network infrastructures.
Handling support cases as part of the worldwide 24×7 FTS program. Addressing clients’ issues, including documenting all activities relating to clients’ problem records, business impacts, troubleshooting action plans. Explaining on testing performed and resulting outcomes, advising on issue validation procedures and solutions given.
Working on problem determination and problem source identification for both defect and usage support for Db2 product. Working with development and service teams in issue resolution, creating APARs for a problems with an Db2 software. Collaborating with other teams in area of Db2 integration into applicable solutions
Performing on Team Lead role with focus on the team’s and business unit’s goals. Projects involving training, knowledge base enhancements, team workflow, creation and reviews of internal processes, implementation of external regulations, or others relevant for the business.
