Archiving DB2 Data

DB2 11 has introduced a new feature called Archive Transparency which helps DBAs and application developers to address operational challenges involved with tables containing a large amount of read only data compared to the current data that is still being modified. This presentation will show you how this feature can be used and also compares it to the history feature with DB2’s temporal tables. Finally you’ll see an example on how to integrate this with IDAA’s High Performance Storage Saver function.
