Today we invite and encourage all members and supporters of our community to prepare and deliver thematic presentations related to Db2.
If any of your friends would like to share knowledge, please send them this information. Particularly valuable are presentations in which we share our own experiences or show our own implementations – as part of a presentation (from 30 to 60 minutes).
The most desirable and expected topics may concern, among others:
• migrating to new versions of Db2
• performance issues related to the operation of the Db2 engine
• optimization of application work by tuning SQL queries
• user experience related to the use of DB2 as a platform for the implementation of new business functionality
• converting from other database platforms to Db2
• using Db2 as a database for analytical queries / data warehouse
• the latest trends that also apply to DB2 and experiences related to it, such as Big Data, AI, SQL DI, WatsonX, Spark, Machine Learning etc.
• examples of the use of tools and add-ons
• real-life examples and examples from your daily work, if you have succeeded in something, share your experience with others
