Matthias Tschaffler (mtschaffler@rocketsoftware.com) is a senior software engineer at Rocket Software Deutschland GmbH, Stuttgart.

He holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and has worked for IBM from 1999 to 2016.

Matthias spent most of his time at IBM with the IBM Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for DB2 Performance Expert on z/OS (OMPE) team, where he held

different positions as a developer, technical lead and architect. Matthias engaged with customers all over the world and is a requested OMPE SME.

As part of the IBM and Rocket IP partnership Matthias joined Rocket Software in January 2017 and is currently leading the OMPE modernization efforts.
